New for Public Comment—SCAI/EAPCI/ACVC Expert Consensus Statement on Cardiogenic Shock in Women

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for women worldwide, with mortality rates due to cardiogenic shock (CS) remaining exceedingly high.

This consensus, produced in collaboration with EAPCI and ACVC, provides a comprehensive summary of the current state of treatment of cardiogenic shock in women across the spectrum of relevant cardiovascular disease states and identifies important gaps in evidence. 

Anyone may submit comments.

2023 SCAI SHOCK: Cardiogenic Shock in the Community is a step-by-step guide to building a contemporary cardiogenic shock program led by a multi-disciplinary team of leaders with experience in running and participating in cardiogenic shock programs.

Including an annual update on advances in cardiogenic shock care, this year's program will explore the building blocks that comprise a contemporary shock program and features a new Building a Shock Team Workshop. 

All registered attendees can now access the slides and recordings from this meeting.
