30 in their 30's

30 in Their 30s Awards

SCAI's annual awards program recognizes the accomplishments of early-career interventional cardiologists who have the qualities required to be one of the field's future leaders.

Recipients will already demonstrate their leadership qualities, superior technical skill, advanced decision-making in complex-clinical scenarios, and dedication to improving patient outcomes in their practice.

SCAI will honor recipients at Scientific Sessions in the year of their award and feature them in communications to our global community.

Early Career Research Grants

While cardiovascular disease morbidity and mortality in the US have risen, funding for clinical research has remained relatively stagnant. As a result, early career cardiovascular interventionalists interested in research have found it increasingly difficult to fund their work.

In response, SCAI's Early Career Research Grants fund one year of research and support the career development of the next generation of academic interventional cardiologists.

Emerging Leaders Mentorship (ELM) Program

ELM is a two-year program that combines coaching, mentoring, and training approaches with networking opportunities to facilitate the clinical and professional development of early career interventionalists.

Member Highlight

The SCAI WIN CHIP Fellowship was one of the highlights of my academic training thus far. It allowed me a dedicated year to develop skills in complex coronary interventions with wonderful mentors and highly skilled and experienced operators.
