The Future Is Upon Us: Emerging Technology and PVI

Overview

This webinar will review the newest technology in peripheral intervention either currently available or coming to market. Experts in the field will discuss the data surrounding these devices, the anticipated impact on clinical care, and future directions in the field of peripheral vascular interventions.

Learning Objectives

After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss data for new scaffolds being designed for arterial and venous vascular beds
  • Describe the data supporting intravascular imaging to guide peripheral intervention.
  • Give examples of clinical scenarios where new thrombectomy and atherectomy devices can make an impact
  • Compare the current approach to endovascular bypass techniques versus future trials and studies supporting expansion of these approaches
  • Examine the recent and upcoming trials of new renal denervation devices and likely target populations most likely to benefit
