Overview

This session will help you differentiate between acute MI shock and advanced heart failure shock. You will understand why IABP is a good option for this patient population and how the shock team and decision making algorithms play a part in their care.

This session will also include "Lessons Learned Post-Fellowship"—a 15 minute chat with faculty about what they wish they had known when starting out as an attending.  Dr. Morton Kern will present "Real-World Malpractice Cases and What You Can Learn From Them"
