Professor Fazila-Tun-Nesa Malik is the chief consultant cardiologist at the National Heart Foundation Hospital and Research Institute in Dhaka, Bangladesh, a 450-bedded tertiary cardiac care hospital. In 2018 this high-volume center, with 5 cath labs, completed more than sixteen thousand cath lab procedures, of which nearly five thousand were PCI.

She is regularly invited faculty at different international conferences and has been a live case operator for numerous interventional meetings. 

Her areas of interest include thrombus containing lesions, left main PCI, bifurcation, calcified lesions, cardiac imaging and other complex PCI.
