Position Statement Quality Improvement Training

Fellows‐in‐training (FIT) and practicing interventional cardiologists should receive training to participate and lead efforts to attain the triple aim of improving the patient experience of care, the health of a population, and reducing the per capita cost of health care. This statement outlines the key components of CQA/CQI training for FITs to be able to implement these skills after fellowship training.
