Airport Information 

The closest airport to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). It is located approximately 10 miles from the hotel. 

ATL to Hotel 

The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation options.  

SCAI and the Hyatt Regency Atlanta do not offer shuttle service to and from ATL. 

Taxi and Ride-Share Apps: The hotel is a 20-minute taxi ride from ATL (fare to downtown: $30.00 with a $2 charge for each additional person).  

Ride-share drivers will pick up passengers at the North and South economy lots, which are a short walk from baggage claim. 

Passengers will proceed through baggage claim toward the Georgia Lottery booth for access to the lower-level escalators. Once downstairs, passengers will follow the orange signs to the Economy lot and request a ride only after arrival at the pickup location. 

Public Transportation: Atlanta’s MARTA transit system runs to and from ATL. From ATL, Hyatt Regency Atlanta guests can board any northbound trains and exit at the Peachtree Center Station. The Peachtree Center Station is connected to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta through the Peachtree Center Mall. 

The hotel offers valet parking on property in a secure underground garage, and there are self-parking options located near the hotel (there are no self-parking options at the hotel). Attendees are responsible for arranging and payment of parking on-site. SCAI does not offer complimentary parking at the hotel. 

MARTA – MARTA is Atlanta’s main transit rail system. You can visit the MARTA website for interactive maps, trains, and bus schedules: http://www.itsmarta.com/. (Fare: $2.50 with four transfers allowed within a three-hour period)  

Atlanta Streetcar – One of the newer ways to get around the city, the streetcar operates on a 2.7-mile loop. Visit the Atlanta Streetcar website for more information: https://www.itsmarta.com/streetcar.aspx. (Fare: $1.00) 

Rental Car Center – This is a one-stop facility that houses 13 rental car brands and vehicles for ATL guests. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the Rental Car Center is just a few minutes away from ATL via the SkyTrain, an electric-powered automated people-mover system that connects the Rental Car Center to additional parking and ATL. 

The SkyTrain also serves the Georgia International Convention Center, the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway, SpringHill Suites Atlanta Airport Gateway, and the Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway Hotel. 

In addition, the International Terminal Shuttle provides service between the International Terminal and the Rental Car Center and runs approximately every 15 minutes.
