Dr. Siraj is a board certified interventional cardiologist based in the USA. Since 2019 she has been an Assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Campus in Cleveland, Ohio. During this time, she was honored to train cardiology fellows and internal medicine residents. She also worked as a clinician and researcher. She was honored to become a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology after completing her training. She received an MBBS degree (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) with honors from Jinnah Sindh Medical University at Karachi in Pakistan, then moved to the USA and completed her residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital at the Bronx in New York, and later completed both of her fellowships at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas in cardiology and interventional cardiology. She has served on different committees and actively participated in improving patient care through her clinical and research work. She was the first female interventional cardiology fellow to be trained at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is an advocate for women in cardiology and interventional cardiology. Being a member of a committee of interns and residents, she has mentored many incoming interns and residents and is actively involved in their education and training.
