JSCAI Call for Papers—Strategies to Promote Equity in Interventional Cardiology: Practice, Research, Education and Policy
Despite recent improvements in outcomes for patients undergoing interventional cardiovascular procedures in the United States, the benefits of these improvements are not spread equally across race, ethnicity, sex/gender, disability status, socioeconomic status, and geographic location.
In this special issue of JSCAI, guest editors Wayne B. Batchelor, MD, MHS, FSCAI, Megan Coylewright, MD, FSCAI, and Mayra Guerrero, MD, FSCAI, hope to highlight ways in which policy, research, clinical care, and medical education have worked toward reducing disparities of care, to highlight systemic success and failures, and to identify gaps needing further progress. They welcome submissions including both original research and review articles related to reducing disparities of care in interventional cardiology.
Interested authors should submit their papers to JSCAI by Monday, May 12, 2024.
