Events Schedule
At SCAI's meetings and events we share the latest research, new technologies, and best practices that you can apply to clinical practice to achieve better patient outcomes.
Complementing our portfolio of clinical documentation and quality improvement guidelines, SCAI's domestic and international educational programs range from interventional cardiology's premier meeting, Scientific Sessions, to smaller regional and specialized programs, and online resources.
Whatever your sub-specialty or level of experience, our diverse faculty, will support you as you continue your professional development and mastery of new techniques and approaches.
Annual Scientific Sessions
More than a conference, Scientific Sessions brings the global interventional cardiology community together to hear from leaders in the field, share the latest research, and learn about new best practices and clinical techniques.
With uniquely comprehensive and unbiased programming, from the Fellows Summit for Complex Cases to the induction of the new class of MSCAI, this event draws people together, irrespective of their sub-specialty or career stage, to share and learn from each other's knowledge and experiences.
SCAI SHOCK
Mortality from cardiogenic shock complicating myocardial infraction remains high, approaching or exceeding 50% throughout the past 30 years, despite the development of percutaneous mechanical circulatory support technology and the national standard of emergent angioplasty and stenting.
SCAI SHOCK serves as a setting where the current diagnosis and management techniques of cardiogenic shock using the SCAI SHOCK classification system can be shared and discussed.
Through lectures, case-based presentations, breakout sessions, and simulations, gain knowledge and practical know-how you can apply to daily practice.
Fellows-in-Training
To support fellows-in-training as they become independent interventional cardiology practitioners, SCAI has developed a calendar of events and educational opportunities that reinforce the knowledge and skills gained on training programs.
Start the year applying for free membership of the Society, continue with SCAI Interventional Fellows Essentials, an online course covering the latest science and practice and SCAI Fellows Courses, an in-person densely-packed mix of didactics, case-based discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and small-group learning, and conclude the year with an opportunity to explore your most challenging interventional cardiology cases with leading experts in the field.at the Fellows Summit for Complex Cases at SCAI's annual Scientific Sessions.
