Fellows-in-Training | SCAI

SCAI has developed a calendar of events and educational opportunities for interventional cardiology fellows-in-training which reinforces the knowledge and skills gained during fellowship.

The year begins with applying for free SCAI membership once accepted into a training program, continues with online Interventional Fellows Essentials, and in-person Fellows Courses in December, and concludes in May with an intensive final preparation for the transition to attending at the Fellows Summit for Complex Cases at SCAI's annual Scientific Sessions.

Fellows Summit for Complex Cases

In May at Scientific Sessions, the Fellows Summit for Complex Cases is an opportunity for FiTs to explore their most challenging cases with leading experts in the field and customize their learning experience with symposia, live cases, and other sessions from the main meeting.

SCAI offers eligible applicants that submit a challenging case with complimentary registration, hotel accommodation, and a contribution to travel expenses.

Member Highlight

SCAI is my home as an interventional cardiologist because it is a place where I can meet and work with a broad group of interventional cardiologists whose differing training and approaches have enriched my approach to practicing interventional cardiology.

SCAI has provided critical resources as I continue to refine my practice and grow as an early career physician.
