Asaad Nakhle, MD | SCAI

Asaad Nakhle was born in Damascus, Syria, where he completed his medical training at Damascus University School of Medicine. He finished his internal medicine residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He spent another year as a chief medical resident at the same hospital. He then moved to New Orleans, LA, to complete his cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology training at Tulane University. Finally, he returned to Henry Ford Hospital for his last year of training in complex, high-risk coronary interventions and chronic total occlusions (CTO). Currently, he is an assistant professor of internal medicine at Tulane University and the director of the complex and high-risk coronary interventions program.
