On June 20^th all U.S. based SCAI members were emailed a link to complete a survey assessing the physician work necessary to perform percutaneous ventricular assist device implantation services. The email subject line is “Help ACC & SCAI, Complete PVAD RVU Survey”. Annual updates to the physician work relative values are based on recommendations from the Relative Value Scale Update Committee, and data from these surveys are used to determine Medicare payments.
