The aim of the SCAI Corporate Community initiative is to further our common goals in cardiovascular medicine and enable all involved to:

  • Remain nimble in the current, highly charged environment to address issues as they arise in this ever-changing field.
  • Reach patients who are suffering from cardiovascular disease with important information and deliver the education they need to make informed decisions.
  • Bring together the current and next generations of interventional cardiologists to provide the resources and mentoring to take their careers to the next level as critical thinkers, clinicians, teachers, researchers, and advocates for their patients, thereby elevating the field of interventional cardiology.
  • Spearhead innovative tools to improve quality of care initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and processes in the setting of invasive and interventional procedures.

Participating in the Corporate Community helps further SCAI’s mission and the interventional cardiovascular community-at-large. Community Members receive invaluable year-round benefits including:

  1. PARTICIPATION in SCAI programs and forward-thinking activities designed for the Corporate Community such as SCAI Think Tank and SCAI Focus Groups
  2. ACCESS to SCAI senior leadership
  3. RECOGNITION on SCAI.org and at SCAI hosted activities and events

Benefits include:

SCAI Think Tank

Held every year prior to SCAI Scientific Sessions, SCAI Think Tank is an opportunity for SCAI Physician leaders to engage with SCAI Corporate Community Members in a meaningful manner and together evaluate critical issues in the current interventional cardiovascular landscape in the hopes of putting forward potential, actionable solutions. Proceedings from these discussions will be published in Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions (CCI) in the fall. To view 2019 Think Tank Proceedings here

SCAI Focus Groups

Facing a critical challenge or interested in exploring a key topic of interest amongst the top leaders of SCAI and the interventional community? Working with you, we will organize a focus group of key SCAI leaders and decision-makers at SCAI, TCT, or ACC annual meetings to explore the challenges and potential solutions, and where they might be integrated into current initiatives or if new initiatives are needed to address those concerns.
