Leah Raj, MD, FSCAI | SCAI

Dr. Leah M. Raj is the director of complex percutaneous coronary interventions at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. 

She studied mathematics at Bryn Mawr College and received her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Emory and her cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of Southern California before returning to Emory to complete interventional cardiology and complex high-risk interventional procedures (CHIP) fellowships. 

Dr. Raj’s interests span coronary artery disease, complex PCI, chronic total occlusions, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary embolism management. Outside the lab, she is passionate about medical education and promoting women in intervention.
