Dr. Bunte is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, a staff Interventional Cardiologist, and Director of Vascular Medicine for the Cardiovascular Medicine Division of Saint Luke’s Physician Group.  As a member of the Saint Luke's Mid-America Heart Institute, his clinical interests include invasive cardiovascular medicine with a focus on endovascular techniques to treat critical limb ischemia, non-invasive diagnostic vascular testing, and vascular medicine.  His research interests include population health management of peripheral artery disease as well as the non-invasive and invasive management of critical limb ischemia, venous thromboembolism, and coronary heart disease.
