Applications for the MSCAI Class of 2025 Are Now Open
A new class of MSCAI are nominated every year by their peers in the SCAI member community. While only currently active FSCAI can be nominated, any SCAI member can submit a nomination.
Please submit your nominations by Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Candidates will be notified of the outcome of the nomination process in March 2025 and honored during the annual induction and convocation ceremony at SCAI Scientific Sessions on May 3, 2025, in Washington, DC.
Requirements
Master Interventionalists of the Society (MSCAI) shall be Fellows of the Society who are recognized by their peers as having demonstrated excellence in the field over a career, manifested by a commitment to the highest levels of clinical care, innovation, publication, and teaching.
To maintain the special status of the designation, no more than 5% of the Society's active Fellowship can have this designation at any point in time. To be considered for MSCAI all of the following three criteria must be met:
- Be an active FSCAI, currently involved in the field of cardiac and/or endovascular angiography and/or intervention as documented by appropriate supporting letters and other materials
- Be a SCAI member in good standing for at least ten cumulative years before nomination
- Have a minimum of twenty years of post-training professional experience in cardiac and/or endovascular angiography and/or intervention or contributions specifically to the field of angiography/intervention
Conditions of membership
Master Interventionalists of the Society are eligible to vote and serve on committees and serve as Trustees and Officers. Each Master Fellow of the Society shall be entitled to one (1) vote at the Society's annual meeting; other meetings of members; or by email when deemed appropriate by the Board of Trustees.
