Michael Megaly is currently a CHIP fellow (Complex High-risk PCI, CTO PCI, and hemodynamic support) at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan. He completed his medical degree and a master’s degree in Egypt. He completed his Cardiology training at the Minneapolis Heart Institute and HCMC in Minnesota, then completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Banner University Medical Center and UA College of Medicine-Phoenix where he also held a clinical instructor faculty position. His clinical and research focus includes chronic total occlusion interventions, complex high-risk coronary interventions, coronary in-stent restenosis treatment, cardiogenic shock, and mechanical circulatory support.
