Muhammad A. Zulqarnain, MD, FSCAI | SCAI

Dr. Muhammad Ali Zulqarnain is an accomplished interventional cardiologist and structural heart disease specialist recognized for his expertise in complex coronary and transcatheter structural interventions, as well as his leadership in academic cardiovascular medicine. He currently serves as the specialist lead in structural heart disease at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he performs advanced structural heart procedures and delivers cutting-edge, patient-centered cardiovascular care.  

Dr. Zulqarnain previously held prominent academic and leadership roles at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, including serving as an assistant professor of medicine in the division of cardiovascular medicine and as associate program director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program. In these roles, he has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of interventional cardiologists while contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular education and clinical excellence.  

Clinically, Dr. Zulqarnain specializes in high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions and advanced structural heart procedures, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and complex valve therapies.
