Dr. Kalathiya completed his internal medicine training at Johns Hopkins and then went to the University of Chicago, where he completed his general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships. He joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago in August 2019.
Dr. Kalathiya has expertise in complex coronary interventions, structural interventions, including TAVR, peripheral interventions for claudication and critical limb ischemia, interventional pulmonary embolism therapies, and mechanical circulatory support, including ECMO insertion, to treat cardiogenic shock.
