SCAI Comments to CMS: 2019 HOPPS Proposed Rule | SCAI

Monday, September 24, 2018, SCAI submits comments to CMS on the 2019 Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (HOPPS) proposed rule urging CMS to create a mechanism for hospitals to differentiate reporting with a differential in reimbursement for drug-coated balloons as compared to traditional PTA balloons used in lower extremity revascularization procedures. SCAI also provides guidance regarding ASC payment for diagnostic coronary categorization procedures.
