Drs. Jeff Marshall and Edward Touhy have represented SCAI at the 175th Annual Meeting of the American Medical Association’s (AMA) House of Delegates (HOD), held in Chicago from June 10-15, 2022.

Over 600 physicians representing state medical associations, specialty physician societies and a variety of interest groups discussed and debated the critical issues of the moment from Medicare reform to gun violence.

SCAI caucused with the Cardiovascular Section which includes representatives from the American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society, and several other specialty societies. At the meeting, the AMA officially renewed SCAI’s 5-year membership that allows SCAI to participate in the HOD, CPT, and RUC.
