SCAI, along with 62 members of the NHLBI Constituency Group, has written to Congress in support of the Fiscal Year 2022 omnibus appropriations bill.
The objective of the letter is to ensure continued funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) including $3.94B in funding for the NHLBI.
The letter highlights the importance of continuing funding that addresses COVID-19 related issues while supporting the core mission of supporting critical research in connection with cardiovascular, respiratory, blood, and sleep related concerns.
