Survey Seeking Input: Combined Heart Failure and Interventional Cardiology Training | SCAI

The “interventional heart failure specialist” is now a reality, as more cardiologists entering the workforce have completed formal fellowship training or are otherwise board eligible in both advanced heart failure and interventional cardiology. However, the exact number of such specialists as well as their scope of practice is mostly unknown.

We are conducting this survey to gather information on the current state of the Interventional Heart Failure field by asking dual fellowship-trained or otherwise dual board-eligible specialists about their careers. These results will help future trainees understand the potential of pursuing combined training, as well as serve to create a network among the pioneers of this exciting new field.

If you are a dual board-certified or board-eligible specialist in advanced heart failure and interventional cardiology, please take 10 minutes to answer this brief survey on how you are applying this combined training in your current practice and what you envision for the future.

If you are not a dual board-certified or board-eligible specialist in advanced heart failure and interventional cardiology, we would greatly appreciate your help in forwarding this survey to someone you might know who fits this description.

We wish to thank you in advance for your time.
