Dr. Vinayak Nagaraja is an Assistant Professor at the Mayo Clinic. He joined the Mayo Clinic as an interventional cardiologist after a two-year interventional fellowship (CHIP, peripheral, and structural interventions) at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Nagaraja is an Australian-trained general cardiologist (Southeastern Sydney Local Health District) and subsequently did a coronary interventional cardiology fellowship at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. From an academic standpoint, he has completed a Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) and a Master of Surgery by Research at the University of Sydney. He is currently enrolled in a Master of Biostatistics by coursework at the University of Sydney. He has multiple peer-review publications, and his strengths include systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and large database analysis. Over the years, his academic achievements include a Moderated Posters Award at the European Society of Cardiology 2018 in Munich, a Sydney School of Public Health Clinical Epidemiology Scholarship 2015 from the Sydney Medical School, and the Isobel Corin Research Award 2013.
