Alejandro Lemor, MD, MS, is an assistant professor and member of the interventional cardiology faculty at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He finished medical school in Peru, earned a master's degree in clinical research, and completed the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR) course at Harvard School of Public Health. He completed his internal medicine residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital. His research focuses on acute coronary syndrome, cardiogenic shock, and mechanical circulatory support.
