Dr. Amir Kaki is currently the Medical Director of the Cardiac Cath Labs and Program Director of the CHIP Fellowship at Detroit Medical Center's new Heart Hospital. He joined the faculty at Wayne State University School of Medicine after serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Greenberg Division of Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medical School at New York Presbyterian Hospital.  Dr. Kaki's area of expertise includes mechanical circulatory support, large bore vascular access, complex coronary intervention, high risk PCI, chronic total occlusions and trans-radial intervention.
