Behnam N. Tehrani, MD, serves as System Associate Director of Interventional Cardiology, Executive Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, and Co-Director of Complex Coronary Interventions at Inova Health System. He is an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of Virginia and George Washington University. His clinical and research interests involve complex coronary, pulmonary, and peripheral vascular disease and renal denervation for the management of resistant hypertension. He is involved in clinical trials and registries pertaining to cardiogenic shock and pulmonary embolism. Dr. Tehrani is a nationally recognized leader, and he serves on national committees in the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He has co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications/abstracts.
