David G. Rizik, MD, MSCAI, is a nationally recognized interventional cardiologist at Banner Health in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Rizik earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He subsequently completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Board-certified in both Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Rizik is widely recognized for his expertise in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters and has made significant contributions to advancing cardiovascular medicine through clinical research and innovation.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of cardiovascular medicine and his service to the profession, Dr. Rizik was inducted as a Master of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (MSCAI) at the Society's Annual Scientific Sessions in 2018.
