David G. Rizik, MD, MSCAI is the Chief Scientific Officer and Director of Structural Heart and Coronary Interventions at HonorHealth and founder and medical director of the HonorHealth Heart Group in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Rizik received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Washington University in St. Louis. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oaks, MI. He is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine. A distinguished researcher in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease, Dr. Rizik has published more than 100 manuscripts and book chapters. He is faculty for the internal medicine and family practice residency program for HonorHealth, as well as faculty for Midwestern University. Dr. Rizik was honored by the Fellows of the Society as a Master of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (MSCAI) in April at the annual SCAI 2018 meeting in San Diego.
