Dr. Deepali Tukaye earned her medical degree with highest honors and fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, India. Following which, she completed PhD in Cellular and Molecular Physiology from Johns Hopkins University. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville and fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University. She trained in Interventional Cardiology at the Emory Andreas Gruentzig Cardiovascular Center. She has received numerous teaching and research awards including the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha post-doctoral research award. She is well published and has presented at numerous national and international meetings. Her clinical interests include interventional management of adult coronary, structural, pulmonary and peripheral vascular disease. Her research interests include preconditioning, ischemia reperfusion pathophysiology and vascular biology. She is currently practicing at the Jack Stephens Heart Institute in Arkansas.
