Dr. Farshad Forouzandeh is a passionate clinician and an avid researcher. He has over 80 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and presentations on translational and clinical aspects of medicine and cardiovascular disease. He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the American Heart Association (AHA) post-doctoral fellowship, the British Columbia Innovation Council Award, Best Resident of the Year, and many top presentation and research competition awards at local, national, and international levels. His clinical and research activities are focused on advanced cardiovascular interventions and vascular biology. He has joined the elite cardiology program at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) as an assistant professor of medicine and a staff interventional cardiologist with Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute of University Hospitals (UH) since July 2017.
