Katherine Lee Chuy, MD, is an interventional cardiology fellow at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She finished medical school at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship training at Cook County Health in Chicago, and a cardio-oncology research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and nuclear cardiology. She has served as a journal reviewer for JACC: CardioOncology and Molecular Medicine and abstract reviewer for AHA Scientific Sessions. She has contributed to 17 peer-reviewed cardiology publications, including eight first-authored journal manuscripts and two book chapters, and has presented at multiple local and national conferences. Research interests include biostatistics, clinical outcomes associated with coronary disease, and potential collaboration between cardio-oncology and interventional cardiology.
