Kreton Mavromatis is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University, and serves as the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. He performs coronary and structural interventions in patients with coronary and valvular heart disease. He has research interests in vascular injury and repair as well as the diagnosis and management of ischemic heart disease and aortic valve stenosis. He is a principle investigator in several multicenter clinical trials, and as well as a leader of investigator-initiated research. He also has a deep interest in interventional cardiology education, serving as an assistant Program Director of Interventional Cardiology at Emory University.
