Lindsey A. Cilia, MD, FSCAI, is an interventional cardiologist at Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Institute, Virginia Heart. She is board-certified in interventional cardiology, internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and echocardiography. She has a special interest in the management of complex coronary interventions, coronary chronic total occlusions, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiogenic shock.

Dr. Cilia completed an additional year of training at Massachusetts General Hospital/Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, to enhance her skills in complex coronary interventions and chronic total occlusions.

Dr. Cilia became interested in cardiology because it provided the perfect balance between preventive medicine and acute care. Today, as an interventional cardiologist, her goal is to help her patients live the best lives they can and to serve as a role model and leader for future interventionalists.

Dr. Cilia enjoys working out and traveling and relaxing with her family and two dogs.
