Louis Cannon, MD, is the Founder and President of the Cardiac & Vascular Research Center of Northern Michigan. He is also the Founder and Senior  Managing Director of BioStar Ventures. A former Judith Volkman Scholar in residence he has performed live cases or commented as a panelist in Singapore, Montreal, TCT, and Japan live and serves on the advisory boards of many Fortune 100 companies. He has several hundred publications or book chapters and holds two US medical patents from the USPTO.
