Luai is an interventional cardiologist at Virtua Health (Marlton, NJ). After finishing an internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (Iowa City, IA), he completed a general cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee), he joined Einstein Medical Center- Jefferson Health in Philadelphia where he completed his interventional cardiology fellowship and culminated his training with a Complex higher risk coronary and endovascular interventions fellowship. His research interests include complex higher-risk indicated procedures (CHIP), Limb preservation, innovation in cardiovascular technologies and cardiac rehabilitation. Luai is a committee member of several professional societies and student mentorship organizations. Through writing for American college of cardiology (ACC) early career section, Luai hopes to be a voice on topics that matter to the interventional community. Outside of the cardiac catheterization laboratory, he enjoys traveling and photography.
