Nadia R. Sutton, MD, MPH, FSCAI | SCAI

Nadia Sutton, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor and Director of Interventional Cardiology Research in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Sutton's clinical and research activities are thematically linked and focus on complex coronary artery disease, understanding vascular aging, and promoting healthy vascular aging. A Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging from the National Institutes of Health supports her research and laboratory. 

Dr. Sutton serves on the editorial board for JSCAI and is Chair of SCAI's Women in Innovations (SCAI-WIN) Committee; Assistant Chair of the SCAI Fellows Summit for Complex Cases; and a member of the SCAI Nominating Committee.

In 2023, Dr. Sutton was the recipient of the SCAI-Abbott Early Career Research Grant for her project, "Concordance of Invasive Coronary Microvascular Dysfunction Parameters With Novel Myocardial Blood Oxygen Magnetic Resonance Imaging"
