SCAI applauds the House for passing the Accelerating Kids’ Access to Care Act, which will make it easier for children to receive care from out-of-state interventional cardiologists and other healthcare providers by streamlining Medicaid enrollment for these providers, thereby providing some needed relief from a critical shortage of cardiologists in much of the country.
