Lawrence Ang, MD, FSCAI | SCAI

Dr. Ang received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, where he went on to complete cardiology training in the physician-scientist training program and interventional cardiology fellowship. He is currently an interventional cardiologist and assistant clinical professor at UCSD specializing in percutaneous coronary interventions. His research interests are complex PCI using robotic-assistance and/or hemodynamic support, biomarkers predicting major adverse cardiac events following PCI, and balloon pulmonary angioplasty for the treatment of inoperable chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
