Robert N. Vincent, MD, MSCAI | SCAI

Robert Vincent is a pediatric cardiologist and Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College and Boston Children’s Health Physicians.  He completed his undergraduate and medical school education at McGill University, Montreal Canada, pediatric residency at Montreal Children’s Hospital and cardiology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital.  After 3 years at the University of Manitoba he spent 33 years at Emory University where he is an Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics.  In 2020 he moved to New York where he is still practicing.  He has been a member of ACC since 1988 and SCAI since 1994.  His primary interests are interventional cardiac catheterization and congenital heart disease.  He had been a member of the IMPACT Steering committee since its inception and Chairman of this committee 2014-2020.  He has been a member of SCAI’s Board of Trustees, Chair of the Congenital Heart Disease and Finance committees and member of several other committees. 

He is an advocate for cardiology in general and pediatrics in particular, having served as the President of the Georgia Chapter of the ACC, member of the ACC’s Board of Governors and the ACC Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology (ACPC) Council.  He is a strong supporter of data driven decision making and quality improvement initiatives.
