We are excited to see you at the Interventional Leadership Track 2024, where we have sessions ranging from Cath lab operations to the importance of government advocacy and how we in the interventional community can support each other and surmount burnout.

By attending, you will be exposed to topics that will enhance the ability to navigate cath lab operational challenges like building a new program to handling supply issues, becoming a more effective interventional leader, improving fiscal performance, and learning how to engage in advocacy.

Our sessions will be interactive and provide opportunities to interact with key leaders.

Overview

Designed for clinicians, educators, and administrators, this year’s newly renamed Interventional Leadership Track focuses on cath lab operations, including quality improvement and diversity, physician wellness, building cath lab programs, and how advocacy and health policy impact our patients and us.

Target Audience

Suitable for everyone on the cath lab team, the target audience for this track includes all physicians, from leaders to fellows, and administrators.

Learning Objectives

After attending SCAI Scientific Sessions 2024 Interventional Leadership Track, the learner will be able to:

  • Discuss the specifics of how to design, pitch, and build a new program in the cath lab
  • Become a leader in the cath lab who establishes and enhances patient safety, communicates effectively, and addresses the discrepancies in care
  • Understand procedural coding and reimbursements
  • Recognize their rights as an employed physician
  • Develop approaches to improve physician well-being and physical health.
  • Recognize how advocacy and government relations matter to our patients and interventional community

Topics Covered

The Interventional Leadership Track aims to engage our community in the critical issues of the cardiac cath lab beyond procedures, focusing on cardiac cath lab operational success, physician well-being, and policies that affect our patients and clinicians. In addition, attendees will be able to interact dynamically with national and international experts in this space.
