Steven V. Manoukian, MD, FSCAI, is Vice President, HCA Healthcare in the Operations & Service Lines Group (OSG) and is responsible for the Cardiovascular Service Line. HCA is one of the largest healthcare organizations in the U.S. and Cardiovascular is one of its largest service lines. Since joining HCA in 2008, he has served in numerous roles of increasing responsibility including: Director of Cardiovascular Research, Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI); Medical Director, Cardiovascular Services, HCA Clinical Services Group; and Interventional Cardiologist, Centennial Heart Cardiovascular Consultants.
Dr. Manoukian is a skillful physician leader and researcher with impressive clinical, research and management skills. At SCRI, he pioneered a cardiovascular research network which stretches nationwide across HCA. He lectures at major national and international meetings and has numerous peer-reviewed publications.
Prior to joining HCA, Dr. Manoukian spent 19 years at Emory University School of Medicine, including fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology and 15 years on the faculty. He was a resident and chief resident in internal medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and received his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine.
